Founded in 1886, Gómez Cruzado was one of the first wineries to set up shop during the 19th century in the Barrio de la Estación in Haro. Eager to share wine culture and Rioja's winemaking heritage, Gómez Cruzado opens every day of the week to allow wine lovers to experience Rioja's history and the evolution of this century-old winery that offers fine wines with typicity from Haro. New times at a century-old winery

Gómez Cruzado is the smallest winery in the privileged and historic location of the Barrio de la Estación in Haro. In their recently renovated facilities, science and technical knowledge work with precision to create well-defined wines suitable for contemporary times without renouncing the traditional Rioja style. Today, Gómez Cruzado is run by the duo of David González and Juan Antonio Leza: two young Riojan oenologists and viticulture technicians with over a decade of experience as consultants for major projects in various wine-making regions. David and Juan Antonio began to work on this project in 2008 as consultants, and today it is their foremost passion.

Gómez Cruzado is part of the Rioja Alta Wine Route: a private-public endeavor designed to energize and promote the historic, artistic, and environmental wealth of this privileged wine-making region.
