    Josep Roca, 2020 Haro Station Wine Experience Engine Driver of the Year

    The HARO STATION WINE EXPERIENCE returns on 20 June 2020, again with a relevant personality from the wine and food sector to assume the title of Engine Driver of the Year. For the coming edition, the sommelier of the three-Michelin-star CELLER DE CAN ROCA, Josep Roca, will be in charge of guiding and driving the great wine and food event.

    Haro Station Wine Experience wines shine at Decanter Shanghai Fine Wine Encounter

    The HARO STATION WINE EXPERIENCE travelled to Shanghai on the occasion of an event organised by the renowned magazine, DECANTER, with 100 wineries from around the world, selected by the magazine’s tasting panel and management. The exclusive master tasting offered by the HARO STATION WINE EXPERIENCE as part of the official programme was attended by over one hundred Chinese wine professionals, buyers and expert tasters. They all enjoyed a journey into the past that helped them better understand Rioja wines, their different styles and their great aging potential.

    Shanghai to toast Haro Station Wine Experience

    The HARO STATION WINE EXPERIENCE is travelling to Shanghai on 16 November to participate in the DECANTER SHANGHAI FINE WINE ENCOUNTER, to which it was invited months ago by the prestigious publishing group, DECANTER Shanghai. This is the most important event organized by the British publication in the Asian continent, with 100 wineries from around the world, specially selected by the magazine’s tasting panel and management. The event’s official programme includes five masterclasses, one given by the STATION DISTRICT wineries, which once again join forces to offer a journey along its history through its wines.

    Wines from Spain Awards 2019: Cerro Las Cuevas 2017 and Montes Obarenes 2015 among best Spanish wines

    CERRO LAS CUEVAS 2017 and MONTES OBARENES 2015, of the Terroir Selection by the GÓMEZ CRUZADO winery located in Haro’s BARRIO DE LA ESTACIÓN, are among the winning wines in the WINES FROM SPAIN AWARDS 2019, an initiative by Foods and Wines from Spain. A panel of 13 renowned judges representing the wine sector, with MASTER OF WINE TIM AKIN as chair, selected the top 100 wines from Spain in the seventh edition of this competition. They are “wines with real wow factor, wines from across the length and breadth of Spain, produced from a myriad of native Spanish varieties and crafted in many different styles”, explains Wines from Spain.
