    GÓMEZ CRUZADO AT ALIMENTARIA WITH NEW VINTAGES OF ITS FINE WINES AND TERROIR SELECTION

    The GÓMEZ CRUZADO winery located in Haro’s BARRIO DE LA ESTACIÓN will travel to Barcelona for ALIMENTARIA April 16th - 19th to present the new vintages of its family of fine wines and its Terroir Selection of village wines (stand 401-9).  At VINORUM THINK in INTERVIN, GÓMEZ CRUZADO will also participate in the unprecedented BARRIO DE LA ESTACIÓN Tasting: Seven Visions of the Future, directed by Pedro Ballesteros MASTER OF WINE, with the neighboring wineries from this historical enclave of Haro.

    Luis Gutiérrez of The Wine Advocate names Gómez Cruzado "one of the most exciting developments in recent years"

    In a recently published report on Rioja, LUIS GUTIÉRREZ, the Spanish wine reviewer for ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE, praises the rebirth of GÓMEZ CRUZADO, one of the historical houses from the BARRIO DE LA ESTACIÓN in HARO, as “one of the most exciting developments in recent years”. GUTIÉRREZ notes that “GÓMEZ CRUZADO has shown the most progress in its wines out of all the wineries in the famous BARRIO DE LA ESTACIÓN in HARO”.

    Tim Atkin MW stands out Gómez Cruzado amongst terroir-driven producers behind the best Rioja wines

    (IMAGE: TIM ATKIN MW) The Master of Wine and British journalist Tim Atkin has published his annual monographic report on Rioja and has stood out the work of GÓMEZ CRUZADO among the "outstanding producers" of Rioja that are moving "towards the expression of the individual villages and sites" to give birth to "the very best Riojas".

    Juan Antonio Leza and David González deconstruct the Gómez Cruzado business model at the Basque Culinary Center

    Winemaker-oenologists Juan Antonio Leza and David González shared their Riojan experience with a classroom full of students at the internationally-acclaimed Faculty of Gastonomic Sciences of the BASQUE CULINARY CENTER (BCC) in San Sebastián. Leza and González broke down the revitalization initiative underway at GÓMEZ CRUZADO, a century old winery in el Barrio de la Estación of Haro. This project is based on a wine-growing and making proposal and marketplace positioning for premium wines rooted in Rioja’s landscape and heritage.
